He believed that a country is better off buying products which other countries can produce more cheaply than it can, and instead concentrate its resources on producing and exporting those goods that it can produce relatively more cheaply than other countries. This has become the basis of international trade today.  Re: Mandarin and Cantonese. That would be a good idea. There are 3.1 billion Chinese, a very large market. If Filipino business people want to tap this market, they would need to speak some form of Chinese.</description>
